Mayor Tinnell called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Councilmembers present: Stacy Cline, Bonnie Enlow, Tony Miller, Margaret Moore and Trina Summers. Faith Portman was absent.
City Attorney Bill Wilson did the second reading of Resolution 008-006 approving a lease for the financing of a public project in the amount of $ 18,000,000. He asked for public comment and there was none.
City Attorney Bill Wilson did the second reading of Ordinance 008-741 approving a lease for the financing of a public project in the amount of $ 5,000,000. He asked for public comment and there was none.
City Attorney Bill Wilson did the second reading of Ordinance 008-742 approving a lease for the financing of a public project in the amount of $ 225,000. He asked for public comment and there was none. Motion to approve was made by Ms. Enlow. Second by Ms. Summers. Motion carried 5-0
A motion was made at 6:20 p.m. to go to executive session to discuss Resolution 008-006 and Ordinance 008-741 by Ms. Cline. Second by Ms. Enlow. Motion carried 5-0.
A motion was made at 7:20 p.m. to reconvene by Mr. Miller. Second by Ms. Moore. Motion carried 5-0.
City Attorney Bill Wilson stated the council had met in executive session to discuss possible property acquisition as related to Resolution 008-006 and Ordinance 008-741.
Mr. Miller made the motion to approve Resolution 008-006 approving a lease for financing of a public project in the amount of $ 18,000,000. Second by Ms. Enlow. Motion carried 5-0.
Ms. Summers made the motion to approve Ordinance 008-741 approving a lease for financing of a public project in the amount of $ 5,000,000. Second by Ms. Enlow. Motion carried 5-0.
Motion by Ms. Enlow to approve Qk4 to do a Southwest Transportation Study. Second by Ms. Summers. Motion Carried 5-0.
Motion was made at 7:25 by Mr. Miller to adjourn. Second by Ms. Summers. Motion carried 5-0. Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
