MINUTES REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF SHEPHERDSVILLE, MONDAY, MARCH 22nd 2010 ouncilmember Mike Miller said the invocation. C The Pledge of Alliance to the flag was said. Mayor Tinnell called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In attendance were Council members Don Cundiff, Scott Ellis, Bonnie Enlow, and Alan Wetzel. Mr. Cundiff made the motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes from the March 8th 2010 City Council meeting. Mr. Alan Wetzel 2nd. Motion carried 4-0. Mrs. Bonnie Enlow made the motion to approve the minutes with changes. Under new business the word “expired” was replaced with “changed” and the line “No changes from the previous contract” was removed. In council notes, Don Cundiff’s name was replaced with the Mayors. Mr. Ellis 2nd. Motion carried 4-0. Mayor Tinnell stated that the city is proceeding with several projects as the weather improves. He also announced a luncheon being held at the Paroquet Springs Convention Centre on April 21st concerning the revitalization of Paroquet Springs Dr. The Mayor also stated that the discussion on taking over Park Loop Rd was prematurely added to the agenda, that it would be discussed at a later date. Old Business: None. New Business: Approve payment of March Bills. Mrs. Bonnie Enlow made a motion to pay the March bills. Mr. Alan Wetzel 2nd. Motion carried 4-0. Sign-in Speakers: June Daugherty with the YMCA. June updated the Mayor and city council on the Bullitt Central pool repair project. Planning & Zoning update- Daryl Lee: None Board of Adjustment update- Duane Price: Stated that a conditional use permit was issued for a daycare center on W. Shannon Lane. Departmental reports: Mac presented the council with pictures of a two story shed on South Shore Drive that he received a complaint about. He explained that the city ordinance doesn’t require a building permit unless the cost of the building is a $1,000.00 or more and he felt they may want to consider changing that guideline. Council reports: None. Motion to adjourn by Mrs. Bonnie Enlow, Mr. Scott Ellis 2nd. Motion carried 4-0. Meeting adjourned at 6:43 p.m.
