Special meeting of the City Council to have City Attorney Joe Wantland to execute second reading of Ordinance 011-083 establishing all fees for usage of the City of Shepherdsville’s Wastewater Treatment Facilities amending prior ordinance concerning the same; execute second reading of Ordinance 01-082 adopting the City of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, Water and Sewer Operation and Maintenance Budget for fiscal year July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 by estimating revenues and resources and appropriating funds for the operation of the Water and Sewer Department; and to execute second reading of Ordinance 011-081 adopting the City of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, annual budget for fiscal year July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 by estimating revenues and resources and appropriating funds for the operation of City Government.
Mayor Ellis called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was cited.
In attendance were Council members Alan Wetzel, Bernie Brown, Don Cundiff, Faith Portman.
Mayor Ellis stated reason for the meeting and asked City Attorney Wantland to have second reading of Ordinance 011-083.
After the reading Mrs. Portman stated that she felt since there were only four council members present out of the six she would like to table the vote until everyone is present. She feels all the Council should be here to vote. Mr. Cundiff 2nd motion to table the vote. Motion carried 3 for; 1 against.
After some discussion it was decided to have a special meeting on Thursday, June 30th at 7:00 p.m.
Motion by Mr. Brown to adjourn. Mrs. Portman 2nd. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:53 p.m.
